My High School Uniform Is Now A Trend!

Back in my high school days, I cannot explain how much I hated wearing my school uniform. I always wonder who created such an ugly design for students to wear. I guess my uniform made me hated pinafore ever since. For those who don't know me, I was born and raised up in Malaysia, and yes this is what public school students like me wear during our high school days (take a look at the picture on the right).

Never would I expect a day that pinafore would actually become a trend in the society. The fashion world prove me wrong! Pinafore dresses is now starting to become a trend! Hugo boss is selling a design that looks similar to what I used to wear to school.  SERIOUSLY?!

This teal pinafore is from MIU MIU and it cost around 620USD. My first thought was are you kidding me?!? I got my pinafore for like RM40 which is equivalent to $10USD? But of course this is soooo much cuter! I was actually starting to like the design of pinafore and could never find any that I liked. I came across several types of pinafore and there are some that I do like but the prices were about $70-$90AUD. I just couldn't bring myself to pay that much for a pinafore. I finally found one that fits me perfectly and it only cost me $50aud! The quality is superb and definitely worth the buy!

This PU leather pinafore is super adorable especially with the cross back design! How I wished my school uniform was this cute! I find this dress suitable for all four seasons, it's great for summer and you can just wear leggings/tights during winter. This is such a versatile piece! Wanna look cute and edgy at the same time? This piece definitely hit the mark!  Why spend a couple of $100 for something you can get at half the price? Shop smart people!
